1. The media has played an important role in spreading Cockney slang in the same way that the media spreads any other slang : by allowing more people to hear about it, specifically outside of London. Cockney rhyming slang is seen as a joke to outsiders, who want to replicate it because they deem to it be funny.

People becoming more mobile is an important factor to spreading Cockney rhyming slang because it means people living in the East End who originally came up with the slang are moving out of the area, and spreading across London, and the rest of the UK, taking their slang with them, and spreading it.
3. Teenagers in general tend to try the hardest out of any social group to make themselves seem different and edgy, and adopting slang is one of the ways they do this. Since Cockney slang was seemingly dead, or dying out, some teenagers adopted it as a way of finding an identity that noone else had.
4. Miles Coles, by writing "The Bible in Cockney", tried to introduce more people, specifically teenagers, to the Church and Christianity by presenting the Bible in a relatable and comical manner, rather than the confusing archaic language.
