Evening Standard : "Berlin may be German but the English Language rules"

In this article, published by the Evening Standard, writer Joy Lo Dico comments about his experiences as an English speaker in Berlin, and his surprise that English is just as prevalent in bars and cafes as the city's mother tongue German, due to what he says is a mixture of an influx of English expats living in the city and the fact that German speakers cannot stand the sound of English speakers trying and failing to pronounce German verbs. "English is more efficient" he claims.
